I saw the Tosca show in Chicago this weekend. It was great to finally see Dr. Richard spin and I had a great time! :)
The billing and venue were badly billed, I was expecting a Tosca concert, and not a sound system show, and this show would have been much better in a club as opposed to the big theater. There wasn't really much room to dance.
I also have to call out my fellow Chicagoans for talking loudly over Rupert Huber's piano piece to open the show. That was very rude, and not nice to do to our foreign guests of such magnitude.
I was a little disappointed Huber didn't play keys along with Dr. Rich's Tosca mixes, which were delightfuly different from the CDs.
Dr. Rich put on the best DJ performance I've seen in 4-5 years with some truly obscure wax, but it was strange seeing him spin some House in the middle of the set. Even some Chicagoans are tired of House music. The MC's were great too.
Fritz's visuals were exceptional, a true highlight. I'd see this show again for that only.
Truly a great show, and thanks for winging over from Vienna and warming up a cold snowy Chicago night.

was anyone at the nyc show last night?
i'm always very happy to see the dr. spin and i actually was digging the huber piano session too. while not the best set i've ever heard from dorfmeister, it was still better than most other dj's. one thing i noticed is that the european crowds definitely have a better energy for this type of music. the new york crowd was pretty lame, imho.
peace,
thomas

I saw the WashingtonDC show Sunday. Very good show- lots of room to dance at 9:30 club. Went to the 18th street lounge later, and met lots of cool people- everyone agreed that it was a good show.
